Fixed Cost

Hiring an experienced business attorney for a fixed monthly fee can provide a sense of security as well as better control over your budget and finances. This arrangement is ideal for clients needing the advice of an attorney multiple times a month.

Our clients can turn to us for the following at a fixed monthly fee:  general counsel, corporate compliance, mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing, intellectual property and technology transactions and counseling, domestic and international business transactions, business disputes and leases and real estate contracts.

Some of the benefits of fixed cost law include:

  • The opportunity to build a strong relationship with an experienced, well-connected attorney
  • Sense of security and relief knowing there are no “surprises” or “hidden extra fees”
  • Accessibility of a legal professional who is just a phone call away
  • Allows businesses to gain better control over their budget and expenses

Traditional / Hourly

In some situations, fixed pricing is unavailable due to the complexity or uncertainty of the particular matter. Therefore, in these situations, our attorneys use the traditional method of billing for legal services and charge the client by the hour until it is resolved. When possible, however, our attorneys still strive to provide some form of fixed pricing for particular projects or components of the client’s case.

Hourly billing can be applied to most cases including contested divorces, contract litigation, and personal injury defense.

Contingency Basis

Price & Keir also offers additional law services on a contingency-fee basis. This type of fee arrangement is typical in personal injury cases, property damage cases, or other cases where a large amount of money is involved. Contingency fee arrangements are typically not available for divorce matters, if you are being sued, or if you are seeking general legal advice such as the purchase or sale of a business.
